Connecting **Gmail** lets Relivo send email from your Gmail address after one Google sign-in. It is **Send only**: your clients' replies arrive in Gmail as usual, and Relivo doesn't see or log them.

## Connect

1. **Open the Email settings**

    Go to **Settings** > **Email**.

2. **Choose Gmail**

    Under **Connect a mailbox**, click **Connect** next to **Gmail**.

3. **Sign in with Google**

    Choose your Google account and allow Relivo to send email for you. Relivo asks only for permission to send, not to read your mail.

4. **Check the connection**

    You come back to **Settings** > **Email**, which shows your address under **Connected mailbox** with the **Send only** badge.

From now on, every email you send from Relivo goes from your Gmail address, and Relivo keeps a copy on the contact's timeline. Replies come back to your Gmail address.

## What Gmail doesn't do

- Your clients' replies aren't logged in Relivo, so they don't appear in the **Inbox** or on the contact's timeline.
- Email you send from Gmail itself isn't logged either.

If you want replies in Relivo on a Google address, disconnect Gmail and connect it again with **Other provider (IMAP / SMTP)** and a Google app password.

If Google's sign-in is cancelled, Relivo shows **Email connection was cancelled**. Click **Connect** again to retry.
