Start from **Contacts** to add people to your address book, or from **Leads** to add them as active leads you want to follow up with.

Choosing **Import my contacts** while you set up your account imports from **Leads**, so those people arrive as active leads.

## Which to choose

- Past clients and your sphere: import from **Contacts**. They won't crowd **Today** with follow-ups.
- Leads you are working now, such as an export of recent inquiries: import from **Leads**.

Split one file into two if it holds both.

The choice only applies to new people. A row that merges into someone already in Relivo leaves them as they were. To make an imported contact a lead later, open them and choose **Convert to active lead**.
