Follow Up Boss keeps one list of stages, while Relivo gives each contact a lead stage and keeps a client's progress on their deal. The stage mapping decides where each Follow Up Boss stage lands.

1. **Open the mapping**

    Open **Settings** > **Integrations** and click **Map stages**. It also opens by itself the first time you connect.

2. **Choose a place for each stage**

    Every Follow Up Boss stage is listed with how many people are in it. For each one, choose **New Lead**, **Contacted**, **Qualified**, or **Contact only, not a lead**.

3. **Save**

    Click **Save mappings**, then **Import now**.

## The suggested choices

Relivo suggests a choice from each stage's name, and uses it for any stage you don't map:

- **Contact only, not a lead**: Past Client, Sphere, Trash, Unresponsive, Archived, Unqualified, Do Not Contact, Closed, Sold, and a stage called just Contact or Contacts.
- **Qualified**: Hot Prospect, Nurture, Warm, Active Client, and client stages such as Showing, Offer, Pending, Under Contract and Listed.
- **Contacted**: Attempted Contact, Contacted, Engaged.
- **New Lead**: Lead, New, and anything else.

## Client stages also get a deal

People in a stage that means they're already a client arrive with a deal at the matching stage:

- Showing becomes a **Buying** deal at **Showing**, and Offer a **Buying** deal at **Offer**.
- Listing Appointment or Listing Agreement becomes a **Selling** deal at **Listing appointment**, and Active Listing or Listed a **Selling** deal at **Listed**.
- Pending or Under Contract becomes a deal at **Under Contract**, on **Selling** for a seller and **Buying** for everyone else.
- Active Client becomes a **Selling** deal at **Listed** for a seller, otherwise a **Buying** deal at **Showing**.

Buyer or seller comes from each person's type in Follow Up Boss.

People in a stage whose name includes Closed, Trash, Archive, Past Client or Unqualified always arrive as contacts, not leads, whichever lead stage you choose for it. The mapping only applies to people the import creates. Contacts already in Relivo keep their stage and their deals.
