Relivo imports straight from Follow Up Boss with your Follow Up Boss API key. You run the import yourself, as often as you like.

1. **Copy your API key**

    In Follow Up Boss, go to Admin, then API, and copy your key.

2. **Connect**

    In Relivo, open **Settings** > **Integrations**. Under **Follow Up Boss**, paste the key and click **Connect**.

3. **Map your stages**

    **Map Follow Up Boss stages** opens next. Choose where people in each stage go, then click **Save mappings**. **Skip for now** keeps the suggested choices. See [Map Follow Up Boss stages](/import-and-export/map-follow-up-boss-stages).

4. **Import**

    Click **Import now**. The import runs in the background, and Relivo tells you when it has finished. A large account can take a few minutes; if it is still running after three, Relivo says so and you can check back later.

## What comes across

- **People**, with their name, email, phone, source and type (buyer, seller and so on).
- **Notes**, on each person's timeline, with their original dates.
- **Tasks**, as tasks, done or not as they were.
- **Appointments**, as dated tasks. Past appointments arrive marked done.
- **Deals** for people in a client stage, such as Showing or Under Contract.

Tags aren't imported.

## Importing again

Click **Import now** any time to bring across anything new. People already in Relivo are matched, not copied, and nothing you changed in Relivo is overwritten: an existing contact only gets its blank fields filled in, and keeps its stage. The import doesn't run on its own schedule.

## Change or remove the key

Click **Replace**, paste the new key and click **Save key**, or click **Disconnect** to remove the key. Disconnecting keeps everything you already imported.

If Relivo says the key is invalid, copy it again from Admin, then API in Follow Up Boss.
