A listing is a home you are marketing. It holds the address, price, details, photos, tour video and seller, and it is what a property microsite is built from.

You can add a listing in two ways: the full form on **Properties**, or the shorter form in **Quick add**.

## From Properties

1. **Open the form**

    Go to **Properties** in the sidebar and click **Add listing**.

2. **Enter the address**

    Under **Address**, fill in **Street**, which is the only required field, then **City**, **State** and **Zip**.

3. **Add the details**

    Under **Details**, choose the **Type** (Residential, Commercial, Land, Multi-family or Condo) and the **Status**, then enter the **Price**, **Beds**, **Baths**, **Sqft**, **Lot size** and **Year built**. All of these are optional.

4. **Add photos, a description and features**

    Click **Add photos** to upload pictures of the home, write a few lines under **About this listing**, and type each feature, such as "Hardwood floors", then press Enter or the plus button. See [Add listing photos](/listings-and-showings/listing-photos).

5. **Choose the seller**

    Under **Seller**, search your contacts and pick the client who owns the home. Adding a seller starts their Selling deal on **Pipeline**.

6. **Save**

    Click **Save listing**. The listing opens, ready for showings and a property microsite.

## From Quick add

Click the plus button at the top of the sidebar and choose **Listing**. Enter the **Address**, and any of the price, type, status, details, **Description** and **Seller** you have, then click **Add listing**. To add photos, a tour video or features later, open the listing from **Properties** and click **Edit**.

The seller must already be in your contacts. If they aren't, add them first from **Quick add** > **Contact**.
