What Relivo can see in your mailbox
What Relivo reads and sends for each kind of mailbox connection, and how to remove its access.
What Relivo can see depends on how you connect your mailbox in Settings > Email. In every case, only messages that match a contact are logged, and your full inbox is never imported.
| Connection | What Relivo does |
|---|---|
| Gmail | Send only. Relivo has permission to send mail as you, and doesn’t request or read the contents of your inbox. Replies stay in Gmail and aren’t logged in Relivo. |
| Outlook / Microsoft 365 | Two-way sync. Relivo reads and sends, so mail you send outside Relivo also appears in the timeline. |
| Other provider (IMAP / SMTP) | Two-way sync. The app password you enter gives read access, so Relivo syncs both directions. |
Where Relivo syncs your mailbox, it reads messages to match them to the right contact and show them on that contact’s timeline. It doesn’t scan your mail for advertising or profiling, and it never uses your email to train AI models.
The connection is handled by Aurinko, a mailbox integration provider that works for Relivo under contract.
Remove Relivo’s access
Open Email settings
Open Settings > Email.
Disconnect
Under Connected mailbox, click Disconnect.
Relivo’s access to the mailbox and its stored keys are removed. Emails already logged on your contacts’ timelines stay.
