Where captured leads land

The stage, lead source and lead type a captured lead gets, how duplicates are handled, and when Relivo alerts you.

A captured lead goes to Leads and Today as a new active lead, with its lead source already filled in. If the person is already one of your contacts, the submission is added to that contact instead.

Duplicates

Relivo looks for a contact with the same email address first, ignoring case, then for one with the same phone number. When it finds one:

  • No second contact is created. The submission appears on the existing contact’s Timeline and in your Inbox.
  • A phone number or address in the submission is saved to that contact.
  • Their stage, lead source and lead type don’t change.

Stage, source and type

A new contact gets:

Lead form Form integration Property microsite
Stage Your first lead stage Your first lead stage Your first lead stage
Lead source The form’s name and “form”, such as “Homepage form” What you chose under Sent from, such as “Zapier” “Property microsite:” and the microsite’s title
Lead type Seller for home valuation and seller consultation forms, otherwise buyer The submission’s lead type if it sends one, otherwise buyer Buyer

Your first lead stage is New Lead unless you renamed it. To change a contact’s lead source later, open the contact, click Edit contact and change Source.

When you get an alert

  • Lead forms and form integrations alert you when they add a new contact. A submission from someone you already have appears on their timeline without an alert.
  • Property microsites alert you on every inquiry, from a new or an existing contact, and add a high priority task, due today, to respond. An inquiry also makes an existing contact an active lead again.

How the alert reaches you is set in Settings > Notifications. See Choose how you hear about new leads.
