Add a task

The four ways to add a task in Relivo, and which ones can carry a reminder.

You can add a task from a contact’s page, from Quick add, from a deal, or as the next step after you log a call or email.

Every task has a title, an optional due date, and a priority of Low, Medium or High (Medium unless you change it). The due date is a day; a reminder carries the time.

From a contact’s page

Open the dialog

Under Next action, click Add or Set one. When the contact has no tasks at all, Add a task on the Tasks tab does the same.

Fill it in

In Add a next action, write What’s next, and add Details, a Due date and a Priority if you want them.

Add a reminder

Open Reminder to choose when and how Relivo reminds you. See Task reminders.

Save

Click Add action, or Skip to close without adding one.

Add and Set one only appear while the contact has no open task. To add another task for someone who already has one, use Log interaction or Quick add, below.

As the next step after logging

Log interaction on a contact page, and every button on Today, open Log it, then set the next step. Fill in Next step before you click Save, and it becomes a task for that contact. It can carry a text or email reminder. See Log what happened and set the next step.

From Quick add

Click the plus button at the top of the sidebar, then choose Task. Fill in Task, and optionally a Note, a Contact, a Due date and a Priority, then click Add task.

From a deal

On the deal’s page, click Add task next to Tasks. Fill in Task, Due date and Priority, then click Add task. The task belongs to the deal and to the deal’s contact, so it shows on both.

When you mark a contact’s last open task done on their page, Relivo opens Add a next action so they always have a next step. Click Skip if they don’t need one.
