An email won't send

What each message means when Relivo can't send an email, and how to get it out.

When an email can’t go out, Relivo shows a short message in red saying why, and the email isn’t sent. What you wrote stays where it is, so you can fix the problem and send again.

Message What to do
“Your email connection expired or was disconnected” Your mailbox’s sign-in ran out or was removed. Connect your mailbox again in Settings > Email, then send again.
“Your mailbox is still being set up” Your IMAP mailbox is still being indexed. Send again once its badge says Two-way sync. See My IMAP mailbox is stuck on Setting up.
“Trial sending limit reached” During your trial, email sent from Relivo’s shared address is capped at 200 a month. Connect your own mailbox in Settings > Email to send without that cap.
“which is the monthly limit” Email sent from Relivo’s shared address, without a mailbox connected, is capped at 1,000 a month. Connect your own mailbox in Settings > Email to send without a limit.
“Attachments can add up to 15 MB per email” Remove an attachment, or send the files in two emails.
“An attachment didn’t finish uploading” or “couldn’t be found” Remove the attachment, attach it again, then send.
“You’re sending emails too quickly” Wait a minute, then send again.
“This email is already being sent” The first click is still sending it. Check the timeline before you send again.
“Sending is paused on this account” Your account can’t send right now, for example because your trial or subscription has ended, or the account is suspended. Open Relivo on the web to see what it needs.
“Couldn’t send the email right now” Your email provider didn’t accept it this time. Try again in a moment.

If an email keeps failing with none of these, check the status page, then contact support.
