Log a call, email or text
Record a call, email, text or note from outside Relivo on a contact's timeline with Log interaction.
Use Log interaction on a contact page to record a call, email or text you had outside Relivo, so their timeline stays complete.
Open the contact
Open the contact’s page, or click their row in Contacts or Leads to open the preview.
Click Log interaction
Log interaction opens Log it, then set the next step.
Choose what happened
Under What happened?, choose Call, Email, Text or Note, and write what it was about.
Plan the next step
Pick or type a Next step, with a due date, priority and reminder if you want them. Click No next step to skip it.
Save
Click Save. The entry goes on their timeline straight away.
Where each one shows
| You log | Saved as | Shows on |
|---|---|---|
| Call | A note starting “Logged call:” | Timeline and Notes |
| An email starting “Logged email:” | Timeline and Emails | |
| Text | A text starting “Logged text:” | Timeline and Texts |
| Note | A note | Timeline and Notes |
Each one counts as contact with the person: it resets their cooling clock and takes a new lead off Today’s new-lead item.
Calling and emailing from the contact page
- Call, shown when they have a phone number, dials their number with your computer or phone’s own calling app. Relivo doesn’t record the call, so log it afterwards.
- Email, shown when they have an email address, opens the same dialog on Send an email, which sends a real email from Relivo rather than logging one. See Email and Inbox.
