The contact timeline
Everything that has happened with a contact, newest first, and what each kind of line on the Timeline tab means.
Every contact has a Timeline tab that shows everything that has happened with them in one place, newest first, grouped by day with the time of each event.
What appears on the timeline
- Emails: emails you send (“You emailed” and the subject) and their replies (“replied”). Long emails are cut to a few lines and the quoted history is left out; the Emails tab shows them in full.
- Texts you logged: “You texted” and what the text was about.
- Notes and logged calls: shown as “Note” with the full text. A logged call starts with “Logged call:”.
- Stage changes: lead stage moves, such as “Moved from Contacted to Qualified”, and deal moves, such as a purchase moving from Showing to Offer.
- Deals, tasks and tags: a deal created or closed, “Task added” and “Task completed”, a tag added or removed.
- Showings: booked, completed, cancelled or marked no-show, with the address and time.
- Forms and inquiries: a lead form or property microsite inquiry they sent, as a message from them, plus a line saying where it came from.
- Pages they viewed on your website or microsites, when visitor tracking knows who they are. See See which pages a lead viewed.
- Contact created at the very bottom.
The other tabs
Next to Timeline, each contact page has:
- Emails: your email conversation with them, where you can read and reply.
- Texts: texts you logged. Texting clients from Relivo is coming soon.
- Notes: your notes, which you can edit and delete.
- Tasks: their tasks, open and done.
Reply from the timeline
Once there is an email in the conversation, a Reply to box sits under the timeline. Type your reply and click Send to answer their latest email, with the same subject.
Other places you see it
- A deal’s page shows the timeline of the deal’s contact.
- The contact preview, which opens when you click a row in Contacts or Leads, shows the Latest activity.
