My password reset link didn't work

What to do when a reset link says it has expired, opens the reset form again, or never arrives.

A reset link works once, and only for a short while after you ask for it. The fix is almost always a new link, used straight away.

Ask for a new link

On the sign-in screen, click Forgot password?, enter your email and click Send reset link. If you’re on This link has expired, click Request a new link instead.

Open only the newest email

If you asked more than once, use the link in the newest email. An older link may no longer work.

Open it in the same browser

Click the link on the same computer and in the same browser you asked for it from. A link opened in a different browser, or in an email app’s built-in browser, may not work.

Set your new password

On Set a new password, enter your new password in New password and Confirm password, then click Update password. You go straight to Today.

What you might see

  • This link has expired: the link was already used, or too much time passed. Ask for a new one.
  • The Reset your password form opens again after you click the link: Relivo couldn’t accept that link. Ask for a new one, and open it in the same browser.
  • “We can’t send more emails right now. Try again later.”: too many emails went out in a short time. Wait a while, then ask again.
  • No email arrives: check your spam folder, and make sure you entered the email you sign in with.
